About Us

SSGS is a weekend golf society, playing once a month from March through to November (weather permitting). We are based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire with access to a number of great golf courses both locally and within a short drive.

Formed in 2019, SSGS is a golf society filled with easy-going, sometimes good golfers, who are all in it to have fun, socialise and meet new people whilst enjoying the game of golf. We welcome all standards of golfers and you can rest assured that you will receive a warm welcome and enjoy some great days out with a great bunch of people.
